Eric sighs, the cold air felt heavenly on his skin. The nature calmed his mind and in his situation that was very crucial to make the right choice. He couldn't let Jay carry that dead body, it was not fair for any of us. Annie would have to grin and bear it, no way she was gonna spend her last hours here in this god forsaken place. Knitting his eyebrows as he was concentrating he wondered...
Could he of done more? At that group he was the best ''doctor'' without schooling there was in that gang. He probably could of striched Kyle better up... Stable his broken bone more...Maybe even... No, he couldn't think like that now. We all had to move on, that whats Kyle wanted to. And the zombies, those were the thing they had to worry about. Nothing else. He felt the wind pick up, quickly, hard. Good, that would lead their scent everywhere else than here. They had gotten more time. Sighing deeply he stood up, brushing the dirt of his clothes and started walking back to the base.

Jay had nodded to Annies words, his eyes clouded with a sense of loss and pain. How would he go on now, that the only thing that had kept him fighting, kicking, and living was slipped away into death. He would need to have a new pusher, but it hurt too much to replace his little brother that had giving his life meaning. He sighed slightly, then set Kyle's body down onto the floor. He gave him one last kiss, despite the stench of his now decaying body filled with feces and piss. He pulled away and got up and walked over to Annie while squating down beside her.
'Are you okay to move? Does it hurt?' His brown eyes showed concern, looking her over and trying to see if she had any broken bones. He didn't know, since he was in such shock of Kyle dying that he hadn't notice her in pain.

Annie closed her eyes and slowly shook her head. Her body was riddled with bruises and she was still breathing at an alarmingly light rate. "I can't, Jay.." She murmured, "It hurts everywhere." She then opened her eyes and smiled supportively at him, though there was detectable sadness, and she weakly placed her hand on his cheek. "Things are going to get better." She assured, "If you and Eric leave right now, you can get pretty far to another safe hideout. You're strong and I know you're brave, Jay. You can do it." She said, a tear rolling down her cheek. She was afraid to die, and she didn't know if she would. She felt like she was dying, but the physical pain was even worse.

Eric opened the door, walking in. The atmosphere felt tense in here...What happened? Furrowing his eyebrows he rubbed the back of his head. ''It's windy out, taking our scent away.'' He explained. Smirking softly he was confident it would give plenty of time. ''We will be able to stay until you guys are okay.'' He watched Jay, then Annie. She didn't look good. Would she make? If she stayed still and all she might. He sighs, thinking hard. ''We should bury Kyle...'' He muttered, his expression serious, sad and dark.

Staring at the limp body that one had Kyle's life in it, he knew he didn't want to see his kid brother being buried under a mound of dirt. He rubbed his finger against his stiffening cheek, and wiped away a few more tears. Rather than saying no, he left and went off on his own. He needed a few minutes...
